Affilliations

WCMPC Affiliations

We are immensely proud and honoured to have several affiliations which represent the outstanding role that our Armed Forces provide. These close affiliations are maintained through the Awards of prizes and contributions for excellence to young servicemen and women who serve our nation.

Royal Navy
HMS Diamond
A jewel in the naval crown, HMS Diamond is the third of the highly capable Type 45 air defence destroyers and one of the most advanced warships in the world. Her primary role is to provide her fellow ships with air defence using the formidable Sea Viper anti-air missile system – detecting enemy threats at range, interrogating them, and neutralising them if required.

Royal Engineers
33 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal)

They are the British Army’s leading EOD & Search Regiment; robust, responsive, agile and ready to operate anywhere! The regiment is comprised of three squadrons and a Regimental Headquarters (RHQ) based near Saffron Walden, Essex.

Royal Air Force
84 Squadron

84 Squadron is unique for two separate reasons. First, the squadron has continuously deployed overseas since its formation as part of the Royal Flying Corps in 1917. Secondly, and the reason for our very proud affiliation, is that the side of each aircraft has featured a playing card symbol to assist with recognition and good luck. The Squadron today is tasked with providing British Forces Cyprus and the Sovereign Base Areas with a versatile, multi role Rotary Wing unit specialising in Search and Rescue, with a Fire Fighting and Support Helicopter capability.

Sea Cadet Corps
TS Constant Tooting and Balham Sea Cadet Corps

T.S. Constant is the unit name of the Tooting and Balham Sea Cadets, a youth organisation dedicated to developing confidence, discipline, and teamwork in young people. Based in South London, the unit is part of the wider Sea Cadet Corps, which has a long-standing tradition of offering nautical training and personal development opportunities to cadets aged 10 to 18.
At T.S. Constant, cadets take part in a wide range of activities, including sailing, rowing, navigation and drill, alongside learning valuable life skills such as leadership, responsibility and resilience.
